CHAPTER 1 Test Tomorrow!!!

*Observation lab returned
Tips for Future Lab Reports:

  • Neat format 
  • Typed lab report excepted for next report due
  • Easy to read data tables 
  • Try to be as specific and thorough as possible in answers
  • No yes or no answers but, they don't have to be in depth like an essay
    • For example, a good answer for question number 2 would be...
      • Yes, it seemed like when baking soda and water combined the temperature cooled an effect that might have been overwhelmed by the heat in Part A.

Answer= 13% sugar

* Requirements for lab due monday

  • Title 
  • Purpose
  • Data (table format)
  • Graphs done on google
  • Post lab questions ( don't do number 5)
  • Write a conclusion (3 paragraphs) 

*To make Google graph go to...
      1.  Google drive
      2.  Create
      3.  Spreadsheet (Title: Beverage density lab data reference)
      4.  First column solution concentration (% of sugar)
      5.  Next column density (g/mL)
      6.  Select all filled in boxes except the labelled ones
      7.  Click Insert  
      8.  Click Chart
      9.  Label x and y axes

*Conclusion Notes
-Must be complete sentences
-3 paragraphs
      1.  Claim- Summarize what you decided what the percent sugar of the 2 beverages.  Report answers. 
      2.  Evidence- Refer to your data and calculations.
      3.  Reasoning- Discuss sources or error and further questions.
